Al 59 Rue de Rivoli di Parigi si trova un centro d’arte contemporanea autogestito. La sua storia risale al 1999, anno in cui viene occupato e abitato da diversi artisti, dove crearono i propri atelier aperti al pubblico. Visitando questo luogo caotico e confusionario ne sono rimasto affascinato e coinvolto. È stata un’esperienza artistica unica nel suo genere, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le dimensioni dell’edificio.
Ogni artista, all’interno di questo sito, si è potuto ritagliare un spazio, in cui proporre e condividere la propria arte.

At 59 Rue de Rivoli in Paris there is a self-managed contemporary art centre. Its history dates back to 1999, when it was occupied and inhabited by several artists, who created their own studios open to the public. Visiting this chaotic and confusing place, I was fascinated and drawn in. It was a unique artistic experience, especially in terms of the size of the building.
Each artist was able to carve out a space for themselves within this site, where they could present and share their art.
