New York è un luogo cosmopolita, definita come “la città che non dorme mai”. Da questo termine ho tratto ispirazione per la realizzazione di una serie di scatti le quali vogliono descrivere una società in continuo movimento, apparentemente senza orari, sia per quanto riguarda la vita frenetica delle persone che la popolano, sia per i turisti che riempiono le sue strade. Fotografare New York è come fare un giro intorno al mondo perché si ha la possibilità di disporre di svariati elementi architettonici ed artistici che una sola città riesce a dare.
Ogni quartiere è un luogo a se, indipendente ed autonomo in cui è possibile ritrovare il lusso della modernità e al contempo zone meno curate.
Penso che da nessuna altra parte c’è la possibilità di riassumere tutto questo in un solo scatto.

New York is a cosmopolitan place, defined as ‘the city that never sleeps’. I drew inspiration from this term to create a series of photographs that aim to describe a society in constant motion, apparently without schedules, both in terms of the hectic lives of the people who live there and the tourists who fill its streets. Photographing New York is like taking a trip around the world because you have the opportunity to capture a variety of architectural and artistic elements that only one city can offer.
Each neighbourhood is a place unto itself, independent and autonomous, where you can find the luxury of modernity alongside less well-kept areas.
I don’t think there’s anywhere else where you can capture all of this in a single shot.
