Nel dolore più profondo entra la speranza

Questo progetto è stato realizzato all’interno del Campo di Concentramento di Dachau (Germania).
Con questo lavoro sono andato alla ricerca delle atmosfere che questo luogo suscita nell’animo del visitatore. Il soggetto principale è la luce, che crea una unione tra l’ambiente interno e quello esterno. La luce parla spesso e porta con sé un cambiamento inesorabile: anche nel dolore più profondo, dove tutto sembra immobile e opprimente, la speranza riesce a insinuarsi, quasi in punta di piedi, come un flebile raggio.

È un processo silenzioso e paziente, scandito dal tempo che sembra non passare mai ma che, in realtà, trasforma lentamente ogni angolo.
La serialità delle ombre, delle figure che si alternano e si deformano, dimostra che anche il dolore più profondo, di chi ha abitato questi luoghi, può essere attraversato e modulato, generando una nuova dimensione, in cui la libertà diventa il nuovo soggetto.

Hope enters into the deepest pain

This project was created inside the Dachau Concentration Camp (Germany).
With this work, I sought to capture the atmosphere that this place evokes in the visitor’s soul. The main subject is light, which creates a connection between the internal and external environments.
Light often speaks and brings with it an inexorable change: even in the deepest pain, where everything seems immobile and oppressive, hope manages to creep in, almost on tiptoe, like a faint ray. It is a silent and patient process, marked by time that seems to never pass but which, in reality, slowly transforms every corner.
The seriality of shadows, of figures that alternate and deform, demonstrates that even the deepest pain of those who have inhabited these places can be traversed and modulated, generating a new dimension in which freedom becomes the new subject.
